My lips are prone to getting sunburned and blistering. I have used Heprecin L as a preventative and sunscreen for years, and it is a great product. I found myself at the beach for two weeks and could not find my Herpecin L. I could not find the product at first when we arrived, so I looked for an alternative. Based on warnings I had read I looked for products that did not contain Vitamin A based ingredients. Ocean Potion Lip 45 seemed good in this regard. The label says it is "FOR YEAR ROUND USE", so I thought it would be safe to apply it every 2 or 3 hours throughout the day - just as I do with Herpecin L. Toward the end of vacation the inside of my lips and part of my mouth became raw and sensitive to many foods. I didn't connect the dots at first, but I eventually suspected the sunscreen when I noticed the symptoms worsened within and hour of re-applying. I found some Herpecin L and started using it. Guess what? The irritation is going away. Maybe I am unique, but I am not the sort who typically has skin reactions, so I thought I would look to see if others had the same issues and post a review of my experience.

Love this lip moisterizer/sun block. It had a nice scent and put a nice shine on my lips plus I used it on the beach and never had a problem with my lips getting burned.

The best lip balm ever. It keeps lips moist longer. Don't have to keep reapplying. Great value as well.

I spend a lot of time in the sun, and my lips get sunblisters if I don't care for them right. This product works, prevents sun blisters, and it tastes good! What more could you ask for?
