I love to play around with red tones--brighter, coppery ones for spring and summer, then a darker, burgundy one for fall and winter. Normally my hair takes very well to color, but sometimes it needs an extra oomph in the conditioning department. This product by Neutrogena is one of the best conditioning agents I have ever used to sooth dried out, tired strands.
The directions on the jar caution you to use a small amount, and they are very right. I have short hair--doesn't even touch my collar--so a dime sized amount was great. If you have shoulder length or longer, you might want to use a tad more. Shampoo as usual then forgoe your normal strength conditioner for this rich, creamy mixture instead. Leave in three minutes, rinse and style. After blow drying at a medium heat setting, my hair looked as if it had undergone the star treatment! Bouncy, and vibrant, it really seemed to help the color stand out too. If you have lots of texture in your hair, follow up with a light pomade and voila!
Price-wise, it's very much worth it. The jar is 6 oz. size, about four to four and a half inches tall. Since you need so little of it for each use, I anticipate this lasting me for at least four to six months. After all, it's not necessarily one you'll need to use everyday, just when you want to give your hair a little bit of heaven.

This is by far one of THE BEST PRODUCT HAIR LINES!!!!...My hair type is 4a 4b which is very coarse texture...When I Deep Conditon with NTM Deep Recovery Hair Mask my hair feels like silk!...I have VERY thick mid back length hair so I use way more than a dime size amount...I start with my ends first and work my way through my hair...When I rinse it out OMG...The slip is amazing!!!...My hair practically detangles itself with this product!....I don't blow dry with a hand held dryer b/c my hair is healthier without heat....Plus, Using these products I really don't have to!:).....I buy the whole line in bulk so that I never run out!

I've always loved Neutrogena products and when I'm in the States, I stock up on this and some shampoos because you can't get these here in slow Australia. This is one of the best hair treatments I've ever used and I love how soft and silky my hair is afterwards.
I straighten my hair every 2-3 days which can be highly damaging, yet with this, you couldn't tell. It's great for putting moisture back in, and for dull looking hair and split ends. You have to be careful not to use too much or it can feel a little heavy and 'greasy' otherwise, but with the right amount (you have to play around to get your own right amount based on hair length), it feels great and leaves your hair smelling gorgeous. It's easy to use and I use it religiously once a week on Fridays and you could never tell that I don't go to the hairdresser as often as I should or that I straighten it too much.
I cannot rate this highly enough and hope that you'll give it a go. You certainly don't have to use super expensive items, and this is great value and does a wonderful job. I love it.

This is the first review I have ever left on Amazon about any product, but I decided I HAD to share with my fellow frizz-heads about why this product is so great. My hair is thick and frizzy and I have tried many shampoos and conditioners over the years to try and tame it, but none of them ever worked, until I purchased Neutrogena's Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. The first time I used this product and dried my hair, I was somewhat disappointed because it still looked a little frizzy (not as frizzy, but still frizzy none the less), but then when I styled my hair like I normally do with a curling iron, I couldn't believe my eyes! I didn't use any expensive additional product (like I had in the past) to protect my hair from the heat of the curling iron. I just shampooed with my regular shampoo, conditioned with Neutrogena's TMDR Hair Mask (leaving it on for 3-5 minutes, as the directions state), rinsed, dried and curled it. The hair mask along with the heat from the curling iron locked in the moisture and smoothed the hair shafts out wonderfully. My hair went from looking frizzy, to silky and smooth. Prior to using NTMDRHM (whew!) I would curl my hair, but sadly it would just look like a CURLED, frizzy mess. Before I started using this product the only time I ever received any compliments on my hair would be the occasional comment after I got it cut, but now I get compliments on it ALL THE TIME. I tried to show the difference in the before/after texture of my hair in the video I've posted. I know it may be a little difficult to see on the video, but this product really works great. Helps revive bleached damaged hair Apr 03, 2011

I go to cosmetology school and wanted blond hair. The instructor bleached my hair 4 times in a row. Imagine the damage I received from that! My hair felt like a wig that was thrown into a closet for months. I bought this at walgreens on sale. I left it in for 30 mins and my hair felt amazing. You can run your hand through it. I even bought a shower cap (hello kitty of course) and I sleep with this in my hair over night. To rinse this out I suggest using cold water to close the cuticle up and cold water adds shine to your hair. :) I would recommend this product to anyone.
