None better! Dec 28, 2008
By Jane E. Rapin I have used these for over 30 years as I am a light sleeper and anything wakes me up. Have tried many other brands after I couldn't find them in the stores but none worked like these. Started ordering on line and hope they're never discontinued.

what happened??? Dec 28, 2009
By ea I used these earplugs for about 30 years. About 5 years ago, the wax content steadily declined and the plugs became hard and unusable. They used to be the best on the market, but now I find about 9 or 10 of the 12 earplugs in a package to be worthless.

Best earplugs yet!! Jul 29, 2007

"Honest Cowgirl"
I shoot Cowboy Action Shooting. I do everything I can to protect my hearing. I have used all kinds of earplugs, plastic, rubber, or foam and by the end of the match, my ear canals are sore or raw feeling. I had a custom set done by an audiologist. They were bulky and heavy and they also collected sweat and directed it into my ears canals. I was always taking them out to tip my head and drain my ears. These plugs, when warmed in the hand before shaping them and putting them in fit great! They block plenty of sound, they mold right to your ears and they are light. My ears are small and I have to cut them in half.. not long ways, but sideways. So, I get a pair from one. I keep the ones I have used in a bit of wax paper between shoots and I found that I can reuse them a few times over. I have also used them while sleeping and it greatly reduces the sound from a snoring husband! I highly reccommend these ear stopples

Flents now poor quality, less wax, less effective. I now buy Ohropax. Nov 30, 2009
By seer For over 30 years I was using Flents soft wax earplugs - until the company was purchased by Apothecary. The quality has steadily declined as the company appears to have reduced the wax content. I now buy Ohropax which is much more effective and comfortable to use.
