I do much of my own waxing at home, and especially on underarms like to use something to clean the skin before waxing. I purchased the prebase and find that it works just fine. I haven't tried other products, so I can't say if it is better or worse than other similar products. However, as a relatively experienced home waxer, I can say that I am very satisfied.
