I like this product because it IS very shiny and it also makes your nail color last a lot longer without chipping. The gloss it puts on your nail polish really catches the eye a lot more than a matte, dull finish.

I love this product. I dont normally have time to sit and wait for my regular nail polish to dry, so even when its at that slightly sticky stage, I just apply the Mega Shine top coat on top and its dry and smooth to the touch within a minute or two. I always use this when I wear polish because it protects the color under it as well as make it look better.
If I wear just polish without the Mega Shine on top, the polish will rub off over the next few days. When I use this product, it will last longer. Everything will start to chip off after a week and a half or 2 weeks, but by that time you can see the nail has grown and it needs to be redone anyway.

I bought this in place of my usual topcoat (Opi) hoping to save myself a trip to another store to purchase Opi. I was not impressed with the Mega Shine. It was not nearly as shiny as my regular topcoat. I can't say if it would extend your manicure for 10 days, as I didn't even like it enough to leave it on. I went back out to purchase Opi to finish off my nails with a nicer shine.
