I haven't received it yet, but I have purchased this for years instead of blonding/bleaching dye FOR THE HAIR ON MY HEAD!
I love it because it is inexpensive, it does not smell, drip, burn and does not have to be used all at once like regular hair dyes.
I came by this rather crazy seeming idea, this way:
"One day 'Greenlee' from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS was on "The View" and she explained her great hair method, and said she used "Joleen" brand facial bleach on her hair for years, or since she was a little girl" or something like that.
I couldn't find Joleen brand in my local hair styling shops, but found and tried this ANDREA brand. It works great, and I get complements all the time (and I don't even use it for anything more than getting rid of increasing gray hair by going dark blond'ish) and think it's funny. (I'm a guy).
Local shop was out of stock (and unsure about re-ordering) and then I found it on-line, hence my first purchase by way of Amazon, but have used it and recommended it for years to everyone who mentions my hair.
Oh ... my tip. Put it on unevenly (small amount) and use a hair drying to speed it up. Add a bit more, more hair dryer ... and so on until you get a desired very natural look. Great for highlighting, but I am too impatient to bother making actual highlights, but I do get a very natural overall high/low light color by this method. Sometimes I leave it in all day (in the summer or if I put it in and forget about it) and never had any bad problems.
